Dream Boat

Following a recurring dream, I decided to paint elements of the dream to see if it would make any more sense to me.

The dream involved being in the past and seeing an old looking liner. Every time I tried to board the liner, I would be late. There would then be an incredible looking, statuesque woman, who wuld tell me that I needed to stop worrying and that I did not need  to use that method of transport. She was surrounded by butterflies I finally had this dream interpreted and apparently, it was all about worrying about “missing the boat”.

I loved the imagery of the dream and although missing the boat seemed negative, the positive aspect of the female figure and the butterfly were all about alternative ways of getting to where you want to be.
