Kylie Minogue Art
When I was updating this website and deciding which paintings from the very early part of my painting career to include, I was not sure wether to include this Kylie Minogue “pop art” painting.
Although my painting style has developed so much since I painted this large scale canvas, it makes me smile. As I have said elsewhere on this website, there were many artists producing this kind of work in the early to mid noughties. I therefore tried to bring something different to anything i produced and if it was simply a straight painting from a still, I tried to make sure that the paint was applied impeccably!
Kylie is an industry now and has secured her place in pop history. I love the fact that she has experimented and has gone through some experimental phases. As I write this, I am tempted to experiment myself and revisit Kylie Minogue to produce an up-to date oil painting,
