The Comforting – Female Acrylic Art

Figurative painting really is an adventure for me. Like many artists, I see in my head an image of what I want transferred onto canvas, but rarely is what appears on canvas entirely similar to the vision I had beforehand.

This female figurative painting is a personal favourite because it came very close to how I envisioned it before starting to paint on canvas. I think there really is a feminine subtlty about this painting. I also love the fact that there is an intrigue. If the figure was to turn around, what would the expression on her face be?
