There is no doubt that the Kiltie art has been a great deal of fun to paint. Most of them have had a “cheeky” element to them. This is one of my favourites.
Anyone who has ever had a Westie will know that like a lot of small dogs, they have huge personalities and come across as almost human. In fact, the saying that the dog masters the human can be quite true, speaking from experience.
This painting, in the kiltie series changed a few times before the T Shirt featured the famous Marilyn Playboy pose from the 50′s.
The original painting mwasured 3 x 2 feet and was created on a box style canvas in acrylic paint. His Master’s Vice lends itself well to the print format.
