This male figurative painting was part of a series featuring figures at windows. This was an opportunity to play around with light and brush strokes. A flat head brush was used for all of the brush strokes in this painting and in the others in the series also.
These paintings appeal to me still and I really believe that this is a method of appying paint to the canvas that I have not finished investigating. I hope to return to both this subject matter and the style of painting, not just for the male paintings but also for other figurative paintings.
