This female oil painting. “Moth To A Flame” has gone through some radical colour changes since I first sketched her on canvas.
The bright initial layers of colour have now been subdued and I have been working to created really soft skin tones, contrasted with shadowed areas.
In some ways, I believe this painting is a hybrid between some of my early art from around seven years ago and more recent oil paintings.
