Art Prints Shop – Now Online

Art prints have been important to me sicne I realised that many people who love art but cannot afford to buy an original like them so much. Tonight I put the finishing touches to the new online Print and Drawing store which I have been working on. I was supposed to have been at the launch of the 28 Drawings Later exhibition but as I have (again!) been a bit under the weather I was disappointed at having to give it a miss.

I had no intention of taking part in 28 Drawings Later. It just so happened that I stumbled across it on the first day when I had sketched a tree and it just developed from there. I only missed two days and it has set me off on a track that I would otherwise not have gone down.

I have included original drawings in the art print shop as for some time I have felt that that it has been difficult displaying both the original art and art prints on this website. The prints are not always all that evident and drawings really lend themselves, because of their size and ease of postage to be included on the new website.

The pricing on the drawings at the moment is possibly a bit low but they need to find their feet and then I will adjust them in the art print shop. I took some drawings to a gallery last week and they were put on display at around double what I ghave the ones here selling at. (they were in expensive frames however).

At the moment, I am loving drawing so much that I have no intention to paint! I am sure that the desire to paint will return but I am utterly focussed on drawing and creating images with graphite and charcoal.
