Female Drawing- A Girl Like You

Female drawing, A Girl Like You started off as an experimental pencil drawing but as I worked on the piece and it started to take shape it changed from a sketch into a finished artwork which I learned quite a lot from whilst creating it.

Therer are different elements to the composition of this graphite art, in addition to playing woth the curvature of the female figure, there was also quite a bit of alternating styles of pencil work on the hair, facial area and body.

This is a reasonably sized drawing but having worked on it, I feel the urge to create this type of female drawing in an even larger scale.

This original pencil drawing is on A3 cartridge paper.
