I fell in love with the statue of the Duke of Wellington outside the Gallery Of Modern Art in Royal Exchange Square. There is something about the Duke and his traffic cone hat which sums up all that is good about Glasgow humour. I have painted this scene a few times now

I had never visited Glasgow Cathedral until 2009 and have to admit to being completely blown away by the atmosphere of this stunning buiding and it’’s surroundings.
