SALE 2009 at McTEAR’S
I am delighted to have been invited to take part in the second McTears Scottish Contemporary Art sale which takes place on 7th March 2009.
I am currently finalising pieces for this exciting event which will be displayed in the New Art section of the Art Gallery.
I will be in attendance at the WASPS Studios on 6th & 7th December and hope you can make it if you are looking for a Joe Hendry original at a very special price!

I will be taking part in a new exhibition at the Ingliston Equestrian Centre in Inchinan. The private view is on Friday 12th from 7 to 10pm and the public view is on Saturday 13th from 4 – 10 pm.
Also taking part are artists Ian Elliot, John Damari, Emilio Fazzi, William Dobbie, Peter Howson, David Marshall, Terry Kirkwood and sculptor George Parsonage.
The auction event at McTears took place on on Saturday 22nd November. The following day, The Sunday Express newspaper carried an article about the event featuring Joe Hendry. .
I will be taking part in the Parade Artists weekends in Glasgow on the last weekend in November and the first weekend in December.
I will have work exhibited with the Ealain Gallery at the Macrobert Art Centre in Stirling from 1st Nov until 31st December 2008.
The preview evening of my second solo show at the Park Gallery in Glasgow is on 23rd October 2008 from 6pm. This exhibition features a real breadth of work and is therefore entitled “Assemblage”
The exhibition runs until 9th November.
A huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who turned up at the WASPS open studios weekend on October 4th and 5th. It was a fantastic event and it was appreciated that so many people turned up, especialy on the Saturday when the rain just didn’t stop.
I now have a page detailing the exciting Contemporary Scotland 2008 auction in November which will feature my JK Rowling, Jack Vettriano and Robbie Coltrane portraits among others.
