There wil be Joe Hendry artwork on display at the Revive MS Support art exhibition at the Lighthouse in Glasgow with 50% of sales going to the charity.

Parade Atists Christmas Exhibition 2012

I will be takng part in the Parade Artists Christmas Exhibition at the WASPs Artists Studios. This is an annual event where painters, ceramicists, glass artists and textile designers have some special items available for  end of year sale.

House For An Art Lover Exhibition

 

House For An Art lover in Glasgow is the next Bespoke Art Gallery event which I will be taking part in. The Sunday evening carries a 5pound entry fee to raise funds for Yorkhill Childrens Hospital.

Bespoke Art Gallery At Craigton House

I will be taking part in my first event with Besopoke Art Gallery at Craigton House near Edinburgh during the last weekend in October. Their is also a preview evening, full details below.

High Street Gallery Glasgow, Launch.

High Street Gallery has now opened in Glasgow and in addition to Joe Hendry originals. the gallery exhibits, Douglas Roulston, Ivor Sexton, Margaret Mariotti and new artist Lynn Howarth.

I will be in the gallery on Saturday 20th October from 2pm-4pm and hope to meet some of you there for a glass of wine and a browse through some of the new artwork on show.

 

WASPS Open Studios 2012

I will be amongst around 40 painters, ceramic, artists, glass artists and photographers taking part in the 2012 WASPS Open Studios at Hanson Street in Glasgow.

Thi sis a fantastic event where around 900 visitors can see artists in their studios and have the opportunity to browser and buy artwork direct from the artists.

Gleneagles Hotel

I will be taking part in the following Ealain Gallery event :-

Once again the luxury resort hotel of Gleneagles plays host to our annual charity event, “Weekend for Art Lovers.” Taking place over the Easter Weekend of 2012. The exhibition is open free to the public on Saturday 7 April, Sunday 8 April (10am to 6pm) and Monday 9 April (10am to 4pm)

Opening preview Friday 6 April 6:30 – 9:30pm with Champagne and Canapes.
If you would like to attend the private preview on Friday 6 April, tickets are priced at £10 each with all with all proceeds of ticket sales going to the charity Strathcarron Hospice.

Against the backdrop of the stunning ballroom, over 150 pieces of original art, Pottery, Jewellery and Glass will be displayed for sale.

Glasgow Art Show

Joe Hendry originals will be on display att he Glasgow Art Show, which replaces the Glasgow Art Fair. I will be represented by the Ealain Gallery who are on stand C1.

The Glasgow Art Show is hosted in the Grand Ballroom att he Thistle Hotel, Renfrew Street, Glasgow and runs from the 23rd to 25th March inclusive.

The Young Gallery

I will be at the launch of The Young Gallery, an Impact Arts project which is being launched in Glasgow on Friday 16th March. This is a fantastic new project for the East End of Glasgow and I am very flattered to have been invited to say a few words at the launch. Parade Artists Christmas Exhibition 2011

I will be taking part in this years Parade Artists Christmas exhibition. This is the only Parade Artists event which I have taken part in this year.

Parade Artists is a group of WASPS Studios Jewellers, Textile Designers, Glass Artists and of course painters.

The feedback we get from these events is fantastic but we find that we are a bit of a “hidden gem” as there is little publicity about the event.

This “mini” version of Open Studios – there will be around 15 artists taking part – takes place over two weekends and there will be a “pop up cafe”. there is ample free parking.

WASPS Open Studios 2011

WASPS Open Studios is a highlight of the year for many artists. This is a fantastic event where you can visit around 40 artists in their studios at the WASPS Artist’s Studios in Hanson Street, Glasgow.

In addition to painters, there are ceramic and glass artists. We also have free parking and the fantastic Cafe Sejuiced will be open the whole weekend.  I am looking forward to welcoming visitors “old and new” so please do come along.

Last year 203 Wasps artists opened their doors to just under 5,000 visitors, showcasing drawing, painting, jewellery, sculpture, printmaking, video, stiained glass, ceramics, batik, installation, performance and much more. Wasps Artists’ Open Studios Weekend is a really valuable event, mainly because it lets the public see what we do as an organisation alongside giving them a rare opportunity to see inside the studios and meet artists in their working environment.

Since the event began in 2002, almost 35,000 visitors have had the chance to meet artists in their studios, chat to them about their work and learn the tricks of a number of different creative trades. The event has also generated almost £310,000 in sales and commissions – money which goes directly into artists’ pockets.

At Scottish Sport’s Futures Black Tie Ball

Original Joe Hendry Art will be auctioned to raise funds for the Scottish Sports Futures charity at their 10th Anniversary Black Tie Ball which is on Friday 7th October at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.

Tickets for the event are available from the charity and they are also looking for additional sponsors.

 

Art Exposure Glasgow -Summer Art Exhibition

From 3rd June  for one month the Art Exposure Gallery in Glasgow will have several Joe Hendry landscape paintings included in it’s exhibition. This is the first time I have exhibited with Art Exposure, which has been exhibiting original art in Glasgow for over 25 years.

Painted Ladies Exhibition

I am delighted to announce that I will be exhibiting publicly in a gallery exhibition for the first time in over a year at the Virginia Gallery in Glasgow. This is a new gallery venture and I am proud to be exhibiting a collection of new female paintings along side artists Wesley Edmund and Kevin Pollin.

The exhibition runs from 29th May 2011 until 3rd July 2011.
