Well today got off to a manic start. After a tiff with the company who maintain my property I went to the studio with steam coming from my ears.

Rather than waste all this energy I attacked a huge canvas with some equally huge brushes!

Boobs and Germans

I just found out that David Sylvian is touring and including Glasgow so I have dusted off the CD collection and been giving a listen.

I donated 2 items for the upcoming Bobby Birds charity art sale : both of which sold before the exhibition. I have donated some more pieces though for the night which is nearly upon us - more info in the news section.

Also, I have received the flyer info on the upcoming exhibition in Chicago. The pieces are almost complete and will be heading for the states in the next week,

Oil

I am definitely being converted into a full time oil artist at the moment. I think that it must go hand in hand with a relaxed mood.

I have traditionally painted more in acrylic but at the moment, I just cannot leave the oil painting alone!

My technique is developing with each piece and I can’t wait to get into the studio in the morning. I am working on a series at the moment. This piece is 75% complete.
