BUYING ART

There are many pages on the internet giving advice on buying art. My own personal opinion is go with your heart! You can read what other people think (including me!) forever but in the end, if you like something then it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.
Some other personal opinions of mine which I don’t mind sharing. I feel VERY strongly that the colour in a pice of artwork doesn’t have to match the room in which it hangs! Having 16 years interior design experience, I can say that it is refreshing to walk into a room and see a piece of artwork which stands out because it is in contrasting colours, or is so subtle that it finds it’s own quiet space.
COMMISSIONS
I regularly accept commissions and have produced a variety of bespoke artwork over the past few years. Please use the contact page and emil any ideas or requirements which you may have.
I am happy to recreate certain previously painted pieces. Please enquire if there is something shown as “sold” which you may have an interest in.

INVESTMENT
Is buying a Joe Hendry original an investment? All I can tell you is that my work has steadily climbed in price over the past three years. Some gallery sold pieces are now selling at ten times the price that my artwork was selling at when I first started painting full time.
PAYMENT
I can accept payment by PayPal (major credit card), personal cheque, international money order or bank transfer. You are covered by PayPal guarantees if paying by that method. I regularly accept payments from all over the world without trouble.
DELIVERY
In the packaging which I have been using for over 2 years now, I have never had one piece of artwork damaged. This includes sending all over the UK, Europe, Sweden Holland, Greece, France, Australia Canada and regularly to the USA.
All shipments have tracking and insurance is available for a small additional cost.
Paintings are sent ready to hang on box style canvas with no exposed staples or pins.
Paintings which are ready for delivery usually reach the USA within 48 hours.
UK delivery is also by 2 day service but this can be next day if necessary.
