During the summer of 2009, I painted several scenes which were based on areas which I used to cycle past in my teenage years. There were many "backroads" near to where I lived at the time and some of the views were really stunning. This landscape painting was initially worked on at a painting demonstration held at the Park Gallery in Glasgow.
